-Golestan Palace is the largest and most beautiful historical and touristic building in Tehran. In the Golestan Palace complex, there are sections such as the marble porch, Salam hall, Aineh hall, Safrekhaneh hall, Karimkhani retreat, Berlian hall, Badgir mansion, Shams al-Amara palace, Almas hall, and Abyez palace. Some of these structures date back to the contemporary era, while others, such as the Karimkhani Kholut and the marble throne porch, date back to the Karim Khan Zand era. This palace is one of the most important historical monuments of the country, which has played a colorful role in the history of Iran. In addition to the historical buildings in Golestan Palace, there are other departments such as the visual documentation center, the manuscript library, the visual documentation center, the manuscript documentation center, the technical office, international affairs, the print library, the child and adolescent unit, Nasser Khosrow St., Sarai Roshan, Meravi Alley and Dar al-Funun are also located in this complex.

-The Iranian Carpet Museum is the holder of the most valuable examples of Iranian carpets from the 9th century AH to the contemporary period and is considered a rich research resource for researchers and art lovers. Usually, about 135 pieces of Iranian carpet masterpieces, woven from important carpet weaving centers such as Kashan, Kerman, Isfahan, Tabriz, Khorasan, Kurdistan and others, are exhibited in the hall on the ground floor. Also, in this exhibition of exquisite Tabriz carpets, Tabriz carpet is displayed, which attracts the attention of every viewer. In this exhibition, examples of Baisanghri Shahnameh pictorial carpets are displayed, which show corners of Iran’s rich literature, mythology, religion, culture and art.
The collection of museum works was formed through purchases from international and domestic markets, as well as collecting them from museums and the Golestan Museum Palace. This collection contains the most valuable examples of Iranian carpets from the 10th century AH to the contemporary period, which is still considered a rich source of research.
After the victory of the Islamic revolution, this complex was enriched by the transfer of exquisite carpets and a museum from Saad Abad palaces as well as government organizations and organs to the museum.
A large number of carpet masterpieces, weaves of important carpet weaving centers such as: Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan, Khorasan, Kerman, Kurdistan and western countries and nomadic regions are permanently exhibited in the ground floor hall of the museum.

Laconic, simple forms of snow-white marble structure rise on the hill in the west part of the city.

*The first half of the year(Solar calendar including spring and summer), every day (Saturday to Friday), entry and ticket sales hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the last visit time is until 7:00 p.m.
*The second half of the year (Solar calendar including spring and summer), every day (Saturday to Wednesday) entry and ticket sales hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., visits are until 5:00 p.m. and (Thursday and Friday) ticket sales and entry hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
